  1. === Angband 2.7.8, RISC OS Release 2 ===

  3. Angband has been ported to RISC OS by Kevin Bracey (kevin@iota.co.uk).
  4.  
  5. This is the second official release of RISC OS Angband. Any suggestions,
  6. complaints, etc will be welcomed.
  7.  
  8. Angband will run on any machine with RISC OS 3.10 or later, and 2Mb
  9. of RAM. (The application currently requires about 992K of memory).
  10.  
  11. This directory contains four Spark archives:
  12.  
  13. ang2782.spk     The RISC OS desktop Angband 2.7.8 application.
  14.  
  15. toolbox.spk     Toolbox modules required to run Angband
  16.                 on pre-RISC OS 3.60 machines.
  17.  
  18. ang2782t.spk    "Update" (Downdate?) to Ang2782.spk to make it
  19.                 run outside the desktop. Might be useful for
  20.                 slower/smaller machines.
  21.  
  22. sourcextra.spk  Compilation instructions + utilities, plus
  23.                 the latest version of main-acn.c.
  24.  
  25. To start playing Angband you only need download the first two
  26. archives.

  28. The official Angband archive is at ftp.cis.ksu.edu, in the directory
  29. /pub/Games/Angband/Angband-2.7.x/
  30.  
  31. The archive Toolbox.spk has not changed since release 1.
  32. SourceXtra.spk now contains all necessary bits to allow you
  33. to recompile Angband using the (pre-Acorn) Angband 2.7.8
  34. source tree.
